Position: After School Instructor (Part-time)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (3-5 days/week), 2:30pm - 6pm

Job Description
iKids U is looking for passionate and driven After School Instructors at St. Mary's Catholic School! This part-time role involves creating and implementing a variety of activities designed to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children and a strong commitment to child development. Relevant experience may include positions such as camp counselors, teachers, long-term nannies, daycare workers, parents/guardians, and PTA volunteers involved in afterschool programs.

Responsibilities:

Guide preschool and elementary-aged children through structured afterschool activities
Supervise children during afterschool hours
Build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and school staff
Ensure a safe and engaging play-based learning environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred
Previous experience in childcare, education, or related settings preferred
Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and professionalism
CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of job start

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
